Divide
Alright, Im splitting my blog and portfolio into 2 sites. Look up at your address bar and you’ll see that it is now http://lightalleys.comuf.com/blog. All queries to http://lightalleys.comuf.com will redirect here for the time being. Once I have more time and THE email, I’ll set up a landing page there with huge buttons that’ll lead you to either here or the portfolio. That’s all for now, back to assignments (sleep actually, it helps me sort things up and I’ve already completed my scenes anyway :D ).
Burned
I am so burned. Experiencing a burnout right now is not very convenient. So I’m done with that competition, submitted the entry just yesterday. My first scene for 3DMRTL is sort of done, you guys call it crazy nice, I find it just above passable. Second scene has to be a killer. Animation assignment is a drag for some reason since last week. Cinematography is hard to be excited about when everyone else is dozing off.
On the bright side, Acting assignment is going to be silly-fun. GEMS test earlier today was passable, considering the fact that I just pulled “sequences” of the different lessons off my head. Oh we also went to the zoo today, drawing animals. Practically had the whole place to ourselves :D
So thats basically the gist of the past weeks. Hoping for neat surprises to jolt me off my feet in the coming weeks.
Segregation
We took it upon ourselves.
We were certain it was right.
United we stand, they always say.
Divided we are, up to this day.
The walls are gone, that bit is true.
But the rivers prevailed.
And it is king.
Normal, not so normal
Vulgarities, casual insults, bad-mouthing, elitism, endless complains and people who thinks that someone who does not understand these is weird, are some of the things that I may never be able to understand.

Happy New Year! The blinking of the cursor just ins’t helping. It took me a while to see that a decade has passed, since we last had to check our clocks. History aside, I thought I’ll just end with a note that I wrote and deleted a paragraph or two before writing this.
Experience Mobile Mobile
To cut a long story short, after a company-wide upgrade the agency had a lot of old mobiles gathering dust. We took these, built and hoisted a gigantic interactive chandelier/mobile that plays Christmas jingles in our reception.
Good Cause: One of the largest problems facing the developing world is a lack of trained physicians. MoCa, is a health screening system for developing countries using mobile (cell)phones and open source technologies. See mocamobile.org

This is somewhat similar to my group’s FYP story. Little kids, haunted house sort of thing. Anyway, the video is pure awesomeness. It’s sad that my team don’t really like that sort of ending but hey! you can’t cater for everyone, unless it’s water.
